HOWS Market to Close?

We're hearing rumors that HOWS Market in NoHo with its wine bar and everything great about it is closing as of next week.

Already, the location is no longer on the company's website.

This is a sad day for NoHo.

We've been shopping at Hows ever since it opened and loved it. It's always a pleasure to shop there, as the store is exceptionally clean and well laid out. The employees have been so terrific and make it a pleasant experience. How sad tghat this is happening.

Are you kidding me? How's has had 3 major problem since it opened a few years ago. (1)Terrible signage. MANY people in the area still don't even know it was there. (2)The worst customer service, other than the wine bar. To get someone to smile or assist you was close to impossible. (3) Way too expensive. With Ralphs getting so aggressive in pricing, How's never stood a chance. These three things, combined, left no hope.

What they need to do is court Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. And yeah, the signage was terrible... unless you knew where it was, it was hard to find.

Someone who works at the nearby Lofts said another store will take its place. She didn't say which one though. I agree that a Trader Joe's, Whole Foods or at least something less expensive would work. On the other hand, with Latinos the largest population in the Valley now, maybe a Vallarta would be more appropriate!

Trader's Joe or Whole Foods would be perfect. Whatever it is prices shuld be reasonable.

I would love a Fresh N' Easy but I think that the space is too big. And if not a food store, then a Best Buy would be great
